Introducing Powerful Call Recording Solution

Anveo Call Recorder is enterprise level call recording solution with multiple storage options including Anveo.com, Amazon S3 and FTP as well as HTTP integration.

We were asked by customers to add a call recording option to automatically record incoming and/or outgoing calls.

After careful analysis we implemented a flexible call recording solution designed to meet diverse needs of our users.
Anveo Call Recorder provides flexible configuration:
  • Multiple file storage option: Anveo.com, Amazon S3 and FTP
  • customizable recording file name which can be constructed from a various fields such as CallerID, destination phone number, timestamp, call duration, call direction, account number, Anveo phone number etc.
  • configurable audio encoding level: Highest Quality wav, High Quality MP3, Low Quality MP3
  • integration with external IT systems over HTTP to notify a third party system when a new Call Recording is ready so it can be processed further.
  • Call recorder can be enabled/disabled/configured separately for Inbound and Outbound calls.

Account administrator can select which users should have their calls recorded. Each user can be configured to use separate call recorder options.

Anveo Call Flow can be configured to record incoming calls using Call Recorder control which can be placed in any part of the flow to achieve true flexibility.

Finally, if Anveo.com was selected as call recording storage option then call recordings can be listened, organized and downloaded right at Anveo.com user portal.

Click to Call from Anveo

To celebrate this event we have a neat gift for Asterisk/Trixbox users. Anveo already has the capability to use another VOIP Service Provider for outbound calls. So why not combine Anveo's Click 2 Call with this feature and create a FREE Click 2 Call button for your Asterisk/Trixbox? Here is an easy to follow guide 'How To Integrate Click 2 Call with your Asterisk/Trixbox server with no coding needed'.

Do you like your existing VOIP Service Provider? Would you like to use it with Anveo? Not a problem!

We are very pleased to announce a new feature which allows you to use your existing VOIP Service Provider and enjoy the power of Anveo Voice 2.0 platform at the same time !

Now you can configure your Anveo account to use your existing VOIP provider for every outbound call Anveo makes on your behalf. It works with every Anveo feature: Anveo Communicator, Anveo Call Flow transfers, Outbound Call Campaign, Outbound Conference Calls as well as Anveo Phone API!

To configure it simply access your account preferences page and provide your VOIP Service Provider details.

Update: How to make a phone call with Anveo Phone Number as CallerID.

I would like to add another way to make phone calls with your Anveo phone number as CallerID.
As you know Anveo Communicator is a great communication tool! With Anveo Communicator you can easily make phone calls with custom CallerID number. Simply select your Anveo Number from the list when placing a call.

How to make a phone call with Anveo Phone Number as CallerID.

Question: "I have Anveo phone number XXXXXXX and I would like to call someone so he/she will see my Anveo Phone Number and not my personal phone number. Basically, it would appear as I am calling from my Anveo phone number. Is it possible?"

Anwer:
A number of people have asked similar questions.
The answer is YES!
Moreover, Anveo is very flexible system and it offers a number of ways how it can be done.
One way is by using Anveo Web Call where you can choose 'Custom CallerID' option and select your Anveo Phone Number from the list.

Question: "That is great! But what if I do not have access to the internet at the moment, am I out of luck then?"

Anwer: Since you already have Anveo Phone Number you know that it is powered by flexible Call Flow engine which offers unlimited possibilities.
Using powerful Anveo Call Flow you can easily configure your Anveo Phone Number to help you.
All you need to do is to use a combination of 'Enter Code' and Transfer call controls. Here is how:
And configure 'Enter Code' Call Control to accept 10 digits (USA phone number including area code) and store it in a variable. And then configure Transfer Call Control to dial a phone number stored in a variable and use Anveo Phone Number for CallerID option.

Finally, configure your Call Flow to get to this section (there are too many ways it can be done to list them all here) and you will be able to call your Anveo phone number then enter a phone number you need to call and Anveo will connect you with the number you have entered your Anveo Phone Number will be shown as CallerID.

Question: "Wow! That is so cool! I am just wondering is there any other way? ;) "

Answer: Of couse there is another way, In fact there are more than one ;). In short, it is called 'Anveo API'. A simple program can be created that initiates a phone call via Anveo API that connects you (on your cell phone, home phone or any other phone number) with another party while using your Anveo Phone number as CallerID.

We are open!

I would like to post a message from Anveo Founder and CEO.

Dear Anveo team,

It is a very excited moment for all of us as I am pleased to announce that Anveo.com is open!
About 3 years ago we have started our journey of designing and building Anveo® Communication Platform with powerful Visual Call Flow technology. At that time we put a lots of thoughts into Anveo's original vision and design so it will be highly competitive for years ahead. During the time we have witnessed a number of Voice 2.0 players entering the market with niche solutions. Just a few of them were quite successful while others are either no longer in business or trying hard to stay afloat. Occasionally, we were tempted to unveil Anveo® in its early stage (I'm sure you remember numerous debates about that) but we kept focusing on achieving the goal and now Anveo is ready.

By launching Anveo® service I hope we open a new chapter in the way people use their phones. No more rigid or old-fashioned rule-based phone services. Anveo® allows anyone to Visually configure their phones without any special skills required. Anveo provides an easy way to "mash-up" phones, IM and the Web via web-based Visual Call Flow Designer. Anveo is more than Hosted PBX or Unified Communication, it is complete Voice 2.0 Communication and Collaboration Suite for consumer or businesses of any size!

Remember when I asked you the question "What would you like to say to our competitors?". Well, now it is the time to present our collective answer:
  • 'Greetings to all!'
  • 'Welcome the competition!'
  • 'May be it is time to move over, there is a new kid on the block!'
  • 'Run...!'
  • 'Good luck!'
:)

But getting serious again, I would like to provide you with some numbers . It took us more than 49,000 man-hours, over 350,000 lines of code, gallons and gallons of coffee to build, as what we believe, the most powerful and flexible Voice 2.0 Communication Platform offered as a service.

Thank you all for your hard work!

But it is not over. There will be more challenges ahead of us, maybe a bug or two to take care of ;) but most importantly we have Anveo® Road Map to follow so we can make Anveo service even better than we have dreamed.

Founder and CEO,
Denis Chukhryaev
